What is ViCoverage?
ViCoverage is the insurance provider integrated with ExpoGenie that allows exhibitors and vendors to purchase liability insurance directly through the platform.
ViCoverage is powered by Vertical Insure.
Why am I being asked to provide proof of insurance?
Many event organizers and venues require exhibitors and vendors to carry liability insurance while participating in an event.
If insurance is required for your event, you'll be asked to either upload proof of coverage or purchase qualifying coverage through the platform.
Do I have to purchase insurance through ViCoverage?
No.
If you already have liability insurance that meets the event's requirements, you may upload your existing Certificate of Insurance (COI) for review.
Coverage Questions
What does the policy cover?
Exhibitor & Vendor Liability Insurance generally provides coverage for bodily injury or property damage claims related to your booth, exhibit, products, or services.
For specific coverage details, policyholders should review their policy documents or contact ViCoverage directly.
How much coverage is included?
Policies typically include:
$1,000,000 per occurrence
$2,000,000 aggregate coverage
Coverage availability and limits may vary depending on the event and policy.
Is liquor liability coverage available?
In some situations, an optional liquor liability add-on may be available.
Availability depends on eligibility requirements and event activities.
How much insurance coverage do I need?
Coverage requirements are determined by the event organizer and venue.
Review your event requirements carefully to ensure your policy meets all required limits and conditions.
Is coverage available for events outside the United States?
No.
At this time, coverage is only available for events located within the United States.
Certificate of Insurance (COI) Questions
What is a Certificate of Insurance (COI)?
A Certificate of Insurance (COI) is a document that provides proof of insurance coverage.
Many event organizers require exhibitors and vendors to submit a COI before participating in an event.
Can I upload my own COI?
Yes.
If you already have liability insurance coverage, you may upload your Certificate of Insurance through ExpoGenie.
What happens after I upload a COI?
Your certificate will be reviewed against the event's insurance requirements.
If additional information is needed, the event organizer may contact you.
Will I receive a COI if I purchase coverage through ViCoverage?
Yes.
A Certificate of Insurance is automatically generated when qualifying coverage is purchased through the platform.
Policy Access & Claims
How do I access my policy information?
Policyholders can access their insurance information through the ViCoverage customer portal using the same email address used during event registration.
How do I access my Certificate of Insurance after purchase?
Your Certificate of Insurance and policy information can be accessed through the ViCoverage customer portal.
How do I file a claim?
Claims for policies purchased through ViCoverage can be initiated through the ViCoverage customer portal.
Follow the instructions provided within your account and policy documentation.
Can I file a claim if I uploaded my own insurance policy?
No.
If you provided your own insurance coverage, claims must be filed directly with your insurance provider.
